The God Who Sees Me

Have you ever wondered to yourself, ‘Does God really see me?’ Or maybe you felt like screaming out in your prayer closet, “God! Here I am! Do You see or even hear me?” The answer is, YES, He not only sees you but He also hears you.

When my children were younger, I could hear their distinct voices from inside the house when they were outside playing and knew when one had fallen and skinned his knee. At dinnertime I would go outside to call them to the house to eat, and they came running because they knew my voice. Just like your children recognize your voice, your Heavenly Father also recognizes your voice when you call.

Have you ever felt unseen, your efforts are unnoticed, or your presence doesn’t really matter? Maybe you’ve been showing up faithfully—in your home, at work, in the ministry—but it feels like no one truly sees the weight you carry or the sacrifices you make. And even your prayers sound as if they are echoing into silence. But here’s the truth: God sees you. Before anyone else notices, before any applause or affirmation God sees every moment, every tear, every hidden act of obedience. When you feel overlooked, forgotten, or invisible, remember that you are never alone. You serve the God who sees you. “You are the God who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13). (to be continued)
