Help Is On The Way

Recently, my husband and I took on an insurmountable task of downloading a house in another state. One that would pull upon all our natural strength and grit. But I knew it had to be done and with God’s help it would be completed. It took us sixteen days to complete the job, but we accomplished our goal. I am not proud of saying halfway through the project a judgmental spirit on my part crept in. I had to put myself in check and remind myself that no individual asked us to take on this daunting task. When we boarded the plane to come back home, we were exhausted but had a great deal of satisfaction that the task was done.

Why am I telling this experience? When your heart and motives are to do the right things, God will somehow make the impossible possible. In my situation, people we least expected came to help even though it still took us sixteen days to complete.

There are times God will beckon you to go out of your way to help someone else even when the relationship seemed strained at one time. And you thought you would never help that individual, never in a thousand years. But God’s forgiveness has a way of ministering to your heart in such a calm and peaceful way. You never know when, where, or what circumstances will arise when you will need someone to step up to the plate and help you make a home run. God will always have unexpected people to help get you to the finish line. “In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.” (Psalms 120:1 KJV)
