Happy Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is Sunday. I would love to reinforce that as a mom, you have a big loving God who will walk with you every step of parenting. Never forget that He travels our life’s journey with and in us! Our heart is not a hotel where God checks in and then out.
The Father is our Pilgrim Companion "I am with you, and I will protect you everywhere you go. I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised" (Gen 28:15 Easy-to-Read Version).
The Father is our Sleepless Watchman: “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip — he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel (His children) will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:2-4 NIV).
The Father is our Protecter: “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb 13:5 NKJV).
The Father is our Mighty Guardian: “So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Heb 13:6 NKJV).
“All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.] And [now] I am no more in the world, but these are [still] in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in Your Name [in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one]” (John 17:10-11AMP).
Jesus has gone home to be with His Father, but He is letting you and me know that He has our backs through the Holy Spirit. As Apostle Paul used scripture to stir Timothy’s faith (“whence arose the need of stirring up the faith in him” 2 Timothy 1:2), allow the scriptures used today to stir your faith as a mother and help you know God sees your labor of love.
