Jesus, The Great Heart Regulator, Part 1
As you travel the road CALLED LIFE, you will encounter numerus stresses and unresolved conflicts. These conflicts elevate your blood pressure and consume your thoughts until your issues are resolved. This is why it’s critical to deal with issues as soon as possible. But not everyone feels that way even though Jesus commanded us to deal with it. Many Christians refrain from saying anything for the sake of peace. Unresolved conflicts will affect your peace of mind, your productivity, and your heart’s attitude toward others. So, it has to be dealt with.
One thing I have learned is what I used to say in my younger years, “This too shall pass.” But as I got older, I realized that everything you neglect for the sake of peace will reappear when you least expect it. I have found that the only way that some things are going to pass, is to put those issues on the table and allow God to help you and guide you into being healed.
When you don’t deal with things Satan will bring it up in your life at the most inopportune times. For example, there are so many women who are broken because of battered lives caused by abuse. I say to these women that no man can fix your heart, and materialism will never solve your problems or fill the void inside (Matt 6:26). Jesus is the only answer. Jesus came to heal your broken heart, to heal your woundedness, and to give you hope and a future. (Isaiah 29:11). He gave his life on the cross to heal the ills of society and fulfill your hunger for a better life.
Jesus sees people so differently than the world sees them; He accepts and loves them where they are. God will give you the strength to walk forward and to forgive yourself and others. Forgiveness is releasing the hurt in your heart. God asks all of us to forgive and walk in wholeness, to walk healed, and to love our fellow brothers and sisters and others. He is asking you to allow Him in so HE can regulate your heart and give you unimaginable joy and peace.
