God Wants to Work Through You

We had a dynamic Bible Study about the children of Israel’s deliverance from bondage in Egypt. These people had questions that were so real about their survival. They were facing a real crisis, which is a time of extreme difficulty, trouble, and unusual circumstances. Their main concern was how is this going to be done with Pharaoh behind them and the Red Sea in front of them? They forgot about all the miracles that God showed them when He delivered ten plagues upon the Egyptians.

There may be times when we also face a crisis in our lives, and, like the children of Israel, ask the same question of how is this going to work out in my favor? But I like what Moses told the multitude following him, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” (Exodus 14:13). God wants us to use the power of His Word in every situation, especially in times of crisis, to destroy Satan’s kingdom with words of faith. (2 Thess. 3:3). If we settle for less our lives lose delight, fulfillment, and purpose. God can act sovereignly without our help, but He chooses to work through human beings like us.

God has a to-do list that is called HIS WILL for each and every Christian. “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God” (2 Cor 5:12). God’s care for his children is like the sun, it is constant. Even though the clouds obscure it, it does not mean the sun is not there. Nothing happens unless it is given over to the Lord! Of course, the Children of Israel got to the other side safe and unharmed. “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7).
