God Is Good
Sometimes we allow our circumstances to determine how we view God. When life is going well, it is easy to say, “God is good.” But when we face disappointment, failure, temptation, or uncertainty, we may begin to question His goodness.
The truth is simple: God is good even when life is hard.
This message reminds us that our worth does not come from possessions, accomplishments, status, or our ability to do everything right. The rich young ruler had many good qualities, but Jesus challenged him to surrender what stood between him and fully following God.
There may be things in our own lives that God is asking us to surrender. Sometimes we have to give up something that seems good in order to pursue what is best—God Himself.
When we fail, we should not allow guilt to make us hide from God. Instead, we can repent, turn back toward Him, and walk in His light. God does not ask us to be perfect before coming to Him. He calls us to trust Him, depend on Him, and keep moving forward.
Today, whatever you are facing, remember:
God’s goodness is greater than your circumstances.
God’s grace is greater than your failures.
God’s presence is greater than your fears.
