Do You Care?
Caring is at the center of our walk with God. What we care about reveals where our heart is anchored. Peter’s life shows us that caring for Jesus wasn’t always consistent—he walked on water, denied Christ, and later became a shepherd of God’s people. His journey reminds us that faith is not about perfection, but persistence.
Peter learned that true greatness comes from humility and surrender. He discovered that carrying his fears, pride, and anxieties only weighed him down. When he finally learned to cast his cares on Jesus, he became a leader who could shepherd others with compassion and courage.
God invites us into the same process. He asks us to release control of our cares, lay down our burdens, and trust that He genuinely cares for us. When we cast our cares on Him, we make room for His peace, His guidance, and His transforming power.
